The Joanna Brown Trust - Germany Bike Ride

The Romantic Road Cycle Challenge

On Monday 13th September 2010 a group of our supporters will start a 270 mile journey in aid of The Joanna Brown Trust. The Romantic Road is a series of roads in Germany that starts in Wuerzburg and finishes in Fuessen, on the Austrian border. The usual way to do the route is from Wuerzburg to Fuessen, but as Jo spent a year at Wuerzburg University studying law we have decided to do the trip the other way. Starting in Fuessen, in the shadows of Neuschwanstein, we will make our way to Wuerzburg aiming to arrive on Saturday 18th September.

The Joanna Brown Trust would like to thank Halfords, Volkswagen & Endura for kindly supporting our bike ride in Germany. Volkswagen are providing a commercial vehicle to transport the bikes there and back, it will also act as the support vehicle during the trip. Halfords are supplying bikes, equipment and spares for the trip as well as advice and support. Endura are supplying all cyclists with their fantastic cycling jerseys & jackets.
